Pre-matric Scholarship 2023

• In order to qualify, the applicant must be a West Bengali citizen.

• In order to be eligible, the applicant must be enrolled in a school or institution recognized by a state/central government educational board or council.

• To qualify, the applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks in their previous final examinations.

• There should be no more than Rs.2 lakh in annual family income.

• Pre-matriculated and post-matriculated students from outside West Bengal are not eligible to apply.

Post-matric Scholarship 2023

• In order to qualify, the applicant must be a West Bengali citizen.

• There must be an educational board/ council/ university of the state/central government that recognizes an applicant as a student.

• To qualify, the applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks in their previous final examinations.

• There should be no more than Rs.2 lakh in annual family income.

• In order to qualify for the pre-matric or post-matric scholarship, students must study in an institution outside of West Bengal.

Merit Cum- Means Scholarships 2023

• In order to qualify, the applicant must be a West Bengali citizen.

• It is necessary for the applicant to have been accepted into a technical or professional program.

• Applicants must have earned at least 50% in their last Higher Secondary/Graduation exam.

• It is not recommended that the student’s family income exceeds Rs.2.5 lakh per year.

• A West Bengal resident pursuing studies at an institution located outside West Bengal, as may be notified by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation from time to time, is also eligible to apply.

Talent Support Stipend

• In order to qualify, the applicant must be a West Bengali citizen.

• It is necessary for the applicant to have been accepted into a technical or professional program.

• Applicants must have earned at least 50% in their last Higher Secondary/Graduation exam.

• It is not recommended that the student’s family income exceeds Rs.2.5 lakh per year.

• A West Bengal resident pursuing studies at an institution located outside West Bengal, as may be notified by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation from time to time, is also eligible to apply.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship

• An applicant must be a Class XI or XII student

• The applicant must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Medical or Technical / Professional courses, as well as pursuing a general degree at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

• We will award scholarships to deserving students based on merit, means, and need.

• Eligible students are those who are enrolled in M.Phil and PhD programs at state-aided universities.

• An annual income ceiling of Rs.2,50,000/- has been set for families.

Eligibility of Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and belong to a SC/ST/OBC group

• For this scholarship scheme, only girls are eligible to apply

• This scholarship program is open to students in class 10th, 12th, graduation, or post-graduation

• SC and ST families should not have an income over 2.5 lacs per year

• OBC families should not have an annual income exceeding Rs 1 lakh

• Selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 3000

• The scheme is not applicable to students studying at educational institutions outside of West Bengal

Eligibility of Hindi Scholarship Scheme

• A permanent resident of West Bengal is required

• Candidate must have completed a qualifying course with a grade of 60% or higher

• Hindi must be one of the compulsory subjects to qualify for the scholarship

• Candidate must be from a state that does not speak Hindi

• An average salary of Rs 3000 to Rs 10000 will be paid to the selected candidate

• This scheme is not available to students studying in educational institutions outside of West Bengal
