It is with great pleasure that we announce the publication of the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship notification 2023 for the academic year 2022-2023 in cooperation with the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India. Interested candidates can apply online at the MGNF website.

Nine IIMs across the country host the MGNF (IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Jammu, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lancashire, IIM Nagpur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Udaipur, IIM Visakhapatnam). MGNF provides young, dynamic individuals with an opportunity to enhance skill development and promote economic development through the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship.

To create credible plans and identify barriers to promoting employment, economic output, and livelihoods in rural areas, the Fellowship combines classroom sessions (Academic Module) hosted by IIMs with field immersions at the district level (District Immersion). There is a Certificate Program in Public Policy and Management offered by IIMs called the MGNF.

A State Skill Development Mission (SSDM) has collaborated with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) of the Government of India (GoI) to design and implement the program. The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship application process for the 2022-23 academic year has begun with 9 IIMs combining their efforts.

By visiting iimb.ac.in/mgnf, students can apply for the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship.
