MOMA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required to meet the eligibility criteria established by the Minority Department and National Scholarship Portal. The eligibility criteria vary based on the specific scholarship:

  • MOMA Pre-Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should be Indian residents studying in classes 1 to 10 at recognized institutions. Family annual income should not exceed Rs. one lakh, and candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their previous examination.
  • MOMA Post-Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should be Indian residents studying in classes 11th and 12th at recognized institutions. Family annual income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh, and candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their previous examination. This scholarship also extends to those enrolled in technical and vocational courses at ITI/Industrial Training Centres affiliated with NCVT (at class 11 & 12 level) or enrolled in Polytechnic Courses.
  • MOMA Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be enrolled in technical/professional courses at the graduate or postgraduate level. Family annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakhs from all sources, and candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their previous examination.
