MahaDBT Scholarship 2023: The Maharashtra Government has announced two new scholarship schemes to benefit poverty-stricken students in this article today. MahaDBT Scholarship latest Update

The Maharashtra Government created the Mahadbt Scholarship 2021 Direct Benefit Transfer online scholarship for poverty-stricken students in the state. In the official scholarship portal, there are about 38 posts for Matric Scholarships for students who belong to the backward category and live in Maharashtra. Eligibility Criteria Under MahaDBT Scholarship

Application for the scholarship was based on the following eligibility criteria:-

Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship	Social Justice and Special Assistance Department	Family income should be less than or equal to Rs. 2,50,000 for students belonging to Scheduled Castes or Nav Bouddhas
Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship	It is required that the student belongs to the SC and be enrolled in 11th or 12th grade In Class 10, he/she must achieve at least 75%.
Post-Matric Scholarship for persons with disability	Applicants should be studying at a recognized university or institute. Eligible students have a physical disability of 40% or more.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme	Tribal Development Department	A student belonging to the ST category has a family income below or equal to 2.5 lakhs
Scholarship to Meritorious students possessing Mathematics /Physics	Directorate of Higher Education (DHE)	Students should not have any other scholarship unless they are enrolled in Graduation with Mathematics or Physics as their main subjects
State Government Open Merit Scholarship	Minimum 60% marks in class 12
Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme	Only the first two children of the same family are eligible Students must belong to the General category with a family income limit of INR 8 lakh.
Merit Scholarships for Economically Backward Class Students	School Education and Sports Department	Students should clear the Class 10 examination on the first attempt Minimum of 50% marks in Class 10
Open Merit Scholarships in Junior College	Students must be in Class 11 or 12 and obtain a minimum of 60% on the SSC
Post Matric Scholarship to SBC Students	VJNT, OBC, and SBC Welfare Department	Maharashtra residents must be residents of the SBC category 75% attendance is compulsory for the current year (Class 10) Annual family income cannot exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students	It is necessary for students to belong to the OBC category and for their parents’ income not to exceed Rs. 1 lakh per year
Post Matric Scholarship to VJNT Students	A student must fall under the VJNT category, and his/her parents must earn less than Rs. 1 lakh per year.
Scholarship Scheme for State Minority Communities Pursuing Higher Professional Education/All Post H.S.C Courses	Minority Development Department	A bonafide student of the Institute must be admitted to Professional and Technical courses (Diploma / Graduation / Postgraduate Degree). Students from Maharashtra must have passed SSC.
State Minority Scholarship Part II	The family income of Maharashtra domiciled students should not exceed Rs.8 lakhs. Students enrolled in an Arts, Science, or Commerce program should have an income of at least Rs.8 lakhs.

MahaDBT scholarship tips

For the benefit to be granted, applicants must follow the following guidelines when registering on the official portal:-

From the Academic Session 2018-19 onwards, an Aadhaar Number is required. On DBT Portal, students who do not have an Aadhaar number can also register.
You are advised to read the Instructions Bulletin carefully and familiarize yourself with all requirements before filling up the scholarship form on the Aaple Sarkar DBT portal.
The applicant must ensure that he/she is eligible to apply and fulfills all scholarship requirements.
An applicant’s scholarship will be rejected or canceled with remarks if ineligibility is detected by authorities at any stage.
The applicant must ensure that all details provided are accurate before final submission, since minor changes will only be permitted if the application is sent back.
Online applications are the only way to apply for a scholarship. There will be no other mode of payment accepted.
