Eligibility
All students who enroll in the Institute, excluding those in MSc and M.Mgt programs, are eligible for scholarships/fellowships from organizations such as CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, MHRD, AICTE, DAE (NBHM), and DST, depending on their mode of entry. Upon joining the Institute, students must promptly submit their joining report to the relevant authorities/agencies to activate their scholarship/fellowship.
The scholarship is awarded for a maximum period of two years for M.Tech/M.Des/M.Tech (Res) programs and for five years for the Ph.D. program. Students who receive a salary from their employers/sponsors are not eligible for scholarships/fellowships, and those admitted to MSc/M.Mgt programs are not entitled to scholarships.

Ph.D :
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Rs. 31,000
- Senior Research Fellowship (SRF): Rs. 35,000
Bachelor of Science (Research): Rs. 5,000
M.Tech. (Research): Rs. 12,400
M.Tech./M.Des.: Rs. 12,400
Integrated Ph.D :
- Rs. 16,000 (for initial phase)
- JRF: Rs. 31,000
- SRF: Rs. 35,000
