The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) is currently accepting applications for scholarships sponsored by various organizations in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Engineering. To be eligible, applicants must have successfully passed their 12th-grade board exams from a recognized board and come from an economically weaker section of society. FAEA Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be permanent residents of India.
• They should have passed their Class XII examination from a recognized Indian Board.

FAEA Scholarship Benefits

FAEA Scholarship Selection Process

• Only eligible candidates will receive further information.
• Final applications will be reviewed by a regional panel consisting of scholars and practitioners from academia, NGOs, and other disciplines.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for regional interviews in the nearest metropolitan city to their domicile.
• A national panel will make the final selection and declare the results, subject to the candidate’s acceptance by the host institution.
• All applications must be submitted to the FAEA office in New Delhi. The level and duration of the award will be determined during the placement process.
• Decisions made by the regional and national panels are final, and any attempt to influence the decision will lead to disqualification.
• FAEA staff, their family members, selection committee members, staff of managing organizations, and their family members are not eligible to serve on selection panels or apply for the Scholarship Program.
• Late application forms will not be considered.

Terms and Conditions

• The Scholarship Program will support selected students for up to three years initially, with a possibility of extension for two more years for postgraduate study based on performance and fund availability.
• The number of scholarships to be awarded each year will be announced in May/June.
• Students will be selected based on academic excellence, social background, and economic circumstances.
• Recipients can pursue any academic discipline at any University/College in India, as long as it aligns with the FAEA’s objective.
