
Government of India manages the Sanskrit Scholarship 2023 through Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. This scholarship program is for students in classes 9 through 12 and at the undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral level. Sanskrit Scholarship 2023
Those students pursuing their academics with Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit as a major or optional subject are eligible for a Sanskrit Scholarship provided by the government of India. There is a different scholarship duration for each class or level ranging from 10 months to two years.
The number of scholarships offered to students is dependent on the amount of funds available. For the development of Sanskrit education, this scheme has been launched. Once the application form-filling process begins, students may submit their online applications. Please refer to the following sections of the article for more information.

Sanskrit Scholarship Selection

Scholarships will be awarded based on selection committee recommendations.

For final approval, the committee’s recommendations will be presented to GIAC.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed the qualifying examination and have chosen Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit as a main or optional subject.

Terms and Conditions
The Sanskrit scholarship terms and conditions must be reviewed by applicants

Students must have received at least 60% marks (General), 55% (OBC), and 50% (SC/ST/Divine Body) in their previous academic year.

For further study, the applicant must choose Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit as a main or optional subject

It is necessary for applicants to reapply for the scholarship. In the following academic year, it is not automatically renewed.

There should be no need to upload any documents or send them via post.

It is necessary for students to open an account with a nationalized bank, such as State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank, Canara Bank & Union Bank of India, in order to transfer funds.

There must be a link between the bank account and the Aadhar number
-
Each year, the scholarship amount will be due on the 1st of July.

It will not be available to students who already receive any other scholarship.

Students who accept a remunerative job during the scholarship tenure will not be eligible for the scholarship.

The scheme does not apply to students studying any other course of study without a Sanskrit component.
