JN Tata Endowment Loan Result

In order to qualify for the scholarship, students must appear for an examination and then an interview. 17 April 2022 was already the date of the examination. A copy of the exam results was sent by email as well. A number of interviews have been conducted by the authorities. The interview results (final selected candidates) will also be emailed by the authorities by the first week of July.

Scholarship decisions are finalized by the trust.

JN Tata Endowment Eligibility Criteria

  • It is necessary for the applicant to be an Indian citizen

  • As of June 30, 2022, the applicant should not be older than 45 years old

  • Minimum 60% marks in an undergrad degree from a recognized Indian university

  • Applicants who have not been selected for the scholarship in the previous year or have not utilized the scholarship after selection are eligible to apply again

  • JN Tata scholars who have already paid off their previous loan can also apply for a new one.

  • No applications will be accepted for seminars, conferences, training, workshops, paper presentations, undergraduate studies, or graduate studies through distance learning.

  • Students must have taken at least two years of Postgraduate/ Ph.D./ Postdoctoral/ Research fellowships abroad.

JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship Selection Procedure

Students will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • First, applications will be screened based on the student’s academic history, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS scores, and statement of purpose.

  • There will be a written examination for selected students. We will conduct the examination online. In April 2022, there will be an exam

  • After a successful examination, students will be required to attend an interview. From April onwards, an interview will be conducted in person in Mumbai or via video conference with the Director of the Endowment and a subject expert via Skype/Microsoft Teams/Zoom.
