The AICTE-approved colleges offer scholarships to candidates who have taken admitted to various courses, especially to those who have scored highly on the GATE exam. To successfully apply for the Rewards program, students must log in to the official Rewards page using their unique ID provided by their institution during registration and upload all necessary documents. To successfully participate in this Rewards program, students must submit their scorecard along with all other major documents. GATE Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for this Reward, you must meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must be permanent and legal residents of India

• Candidates must be pursuing a postgraduate degree

• He/she must have taken GATE or GPAT

• Candidates must not be members of the OBC

• Candidate’s claims must be supported by relevant certificates.

• As assigned by the Institute, postgraduate candidates will be required to perform 8 to 10 hours (per week) of teaching and research activities, including tutorials and laboratory classes, laboratory development and maintenance, support for faculty members’ research and development activities, maintenance and operation of computers and other central facilities, library assistance, etc.

• The Rewards are not available to foreign candidates, sponsored candidates, or students admitted to PG programs.

GATE Scholarship Documents Required

For this reward, the following documents are required:

• Aadhar Card for Students (Exemption for Assam, Jammu, Kashmir, and Meghalaya students)

• Results of GATE

• A PDF copy of the caste certificate

• BC Students– Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in pdf format, not older than 1 year

• Passbook for students (in pdf format)

GATE Scholarship Amount

Applicants to this Rewards program will be eligible to receive the following awards:

• A candidate receiving GATE Rewards receives about INR 12,400 for their post-graduate studies (GATE scholarship for Ph.D. is not yet available).

• AICTE policy decision-makers will govern the mode of payment of rewards to candidates through the official portal.

• AICTE GATE Rewards are awarded to candidates every month. Candidates should not receive any grants, rewards, stipends, or salaries from any other source during their candidacy. Candidates will have to provide their bank account details to process the payment, which should not be a joint account since they are not candidates.

GATE Scholarship last Date

• Registration for GATE Scholarships begins in the second week of December 2022

• Registration for the GATE Scholarship ends in the second or third week of March 2023

• Your screen will display the application form.

• Upload the Needs documents and fill out the information on the page.

• You must complete all the information and documents before the deadline for applying for the scholarship.

• Documents need to be uploaded and applications must be submitted by the previous week of August.

• Once the application has been submitted and the documents have been filled out, the concerned institute will verify the information entered. They will give their approval once all the data has been verified, and the Rewards will be granted to the candidates.
