UP Free Laptop Yojana 2023
Under this scheme, the Uttar Pradesh Government will distribute free laptops to approximately 2.2 million students currently studying in classes 10th and 12th. Students who excel in their examinations will be eligible to apply for this scheme. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has allocated a budget of ₹1800 crores for the successful implementation of this initiative. The primary objective is to promote digital technology among students and facilitate online learning, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

UP Free Tablet Smartphone Yojana
To ensure that every needy student in the state has access to education, the Uttar Pradesh Government has introduced the UP Free/ Tablet Smartphone Yojana. This scheme aims to provide free tablets/smartphones to students belonging to economically disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing various courses such as Graduation, BTech, Polytechnic, Medical, Education, Paramedical, and Skill Development Mission. The head of the institutions will share the required data with the concerned authority for the beneficiaries to avail the benefits. The first phase of the scheme will witness the distribution of 2.5 lakh tablets and 5 lakh smartphones.
Objective Of UP Free Laptop Yojana List
The Uttar Pradesh Government will award ₹100,000 and laptops to the toppers of classes 10th and 12th as a recognition of their exceptional performance. The UP board will be revamped with advanced technologies to facilitate a better learning experience for students, along with financial assistance and laptops to support their online classes. Additionally, roads will be constructed to provide easy access to schools for the top 20 rankers in the state. This scheme will benefit around 22 lakh students, making it a significant initiative introduced by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
