ADW Scholarship Criteria for Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this scholarship scheme, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- A candidate must be a SC/ST, a Muslim Minority, or a Christian convert.
- They should be Tamil Nadu natives who have lived in the state for at least five years.
- ADW scholarships are available to students studying from class I through Ph.D.
- Applicants for ADW hostels must live more than five kilometers from their school/college. Girls, however, are exempt from this condition.
- It is possible for female candidates to live five kilometers from their school/college.
- There should be no more than INR 2,00,000 in family income per year.
- Previous qualifying examinations are required for candidates who wish to study in distinguished schools.
- Student should have attended a government or government-aided school, as well as an Adi Dravidar welfare school.
- ADW scholarships are available to students who wish to study in reputed schools in classes XI and XII.
