Eligibility Criteria for NSP Scholarship 2023
NSP Pre Matric Scholarship
- Eligibility: Students securing over 50% marks in the previous final examination and having parents/guardians with an annual income below Rs. 1.00 lakh.
- Scope: Scholarships cover studies in government or private schools from class I to class X. It applies to minority community students in Classes I to X.
NSP Post Matric Scholarship
- Eligibility: Students securing over 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and having parents/guardians with an annual income below Rs. 2.00 lakh.
- Scope: Scholarships cover studies in government or private higher secondary schools/colleges/universities. They also extend to technical and vocational courses at XI and XII levels, including Polytechnics and other courses.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional & Technical Courses CS
- Eligibility: Students securing over 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and having parents/guardians with an annual income below Rs. 2.50 lakh.
- Scope: Scholarships are awarded for studies in government or private institutions offering technical and professional courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
NSP Scholarships 2023 Amount
The distribution of scholarships among the states/union territories is based on the population of minorities, as per Census 2001 for 2017-18 and Census 2011 for 2018-19 and 2019-20.
Pre Matric Scholarship Amount
- Admission + Tuition Fee: Rs. 500/- per annum (Admission) and Rs. 350/- per month (Tuition) for classes VI to X.
- Maintenance Allowance: Rs. 100/- per month (Class I to V), Rs. 600/- per month (Hosteller, Class VI to X), Rs. 100/- per month (Day Scholar, Class VI to X).
