Rajasthan EWS Scholarship 2023: Latest Update, Status, Eligibility, Application process and amount

To benefit students from economically weaker sections, the Rajasthan government has launched the Rajasthan EWS Scholarship Yojana 2023.

Through the EWS Scholarship Scheme, scholarships will be provided for students who have completed their 10th grade.

EWS Scholarship Scheme 2023

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has launched the EWS Scholarship 2023 to benefit students from economically weaker sections.

Economically weaker students in the general category are eligible to apply for this scheme. Rajasthan Board will provide scholarships to economically backward students of the general category who score over 80% on their class X secondary examination under its special student and grant scheme.

You can apply under this scheme. Online applications have started from October under the EWS Scholarship Yojana. Which has a deadline of 15 November 2022.

EWS Scholarship Yojana’s objectives

EWS Scholarship Yojana aims to provide special scholarships and grants to financially talented students to assist them.

Students from economically backward classes and general category students will receive scholarships if they earn a minimum mark of 80% in the Rajasthan Board Secondary Examination. The student can then study regularly in classes 11th and 12th as well. As a result, the student’s eagerness to study further will increase and he will have the opportunity to become something in the future. Having financial constraints will no longer prevent students from completing their studies.

EWS scholarship amount

EWS Scholarship Yojana 2022 offers the following scholarships:

• Scholarship offers Rs.100/month for two academic sessions (one academic session is 10 months).

• The scholarship covers two academic sessions (one academic session equals 10 months) and is worth 1000 rupees per month.

EWS Scholarship Yojana Notification

• Students in class 10th who get more than 80% marks will be eligible for the EWS Scholarship Yojana 2023.

• EWS Scholarship Yojana will only provide scholarships to students in classes 11th and 12.

• Scholarships will be provided to students who continue their studies at any recognized institution.

• Students who leave the study in the middle will lose the scholarship after the date of leaving the study.

• Students will receive the scholarship directly into their bank accounts.

• Applicants must carefully enter their bank name, bank account number, IFSC code, mobile number, and email address.

• Students of Category 1 entering the Rajasthan Board Exam Class 10th will be eligible under this scheme.

• Attach the EWS certificate certified by the state government’s competent authority to the form.

• The Rajasthan government has retained its economic backward class rules under this scheme.

• Only online scholarship applications will be accepted.

• The selection of students will be based on the final results after scrutiny.

EWS Scholarship Eligibility

• Students applying for the EWS Scholarship Yojana 2022 must be natives of Rajasthan.

• Former students from the general category who scored more than 80% in the Rajasthan Secondary Board Exam will be eligible.

• Scholarships are available only to economically disadvantaged students.

• Applicants must have scored more than 80% in class 10th and be economically backward.

EWS Scholarship Yojana application process

• EWS Scholarship Yojana (EWS Scholarship Scheme) applications will only be accepted through schools.

• This scheme requires students to apply directly to their schools.

• Upon arrival at the school, students will go to the institution head and get the scholarship form.

• In the form, all information must be entered carefully.

• Along with the application form, the concerned manager will also need to receive copies of all the necessary documents.
