Digital Gujarat Scholarship – Key Eligibility

What scholarships are available to candidates? In order to be eligible for any of the Gujarat scholarships, what are the key criteria?

A permanent resident of Gujarat state is the only eligibility criteria applicable to all Gujarat scholarships. Additionally, candidates must meet some other criteria, which may vary from scholarship to scholarship. Below is a table containing detailed information about each scholarship’s eligibility criteria.

  • Students who achieve 80 percentiles in their class 10th/ 12th and are admitted to the first year of a diploma/degree program may apply.
  • If you have achieved 65 percent in your diploma and have been admitted to the first or second year of your degree course, you can apply.
  • Family income should not exceed INR 6 lakh per year.
2. Scholarships to the Disabled Students, Gujarat
  • Students with a disability percentage of more than 40% are eligible to apply.
  • Students from class 1st to 12th can apply for the scholarship.
  • A family’s annual income should not exceed INR 50,000.
  • At least 40% of the candidate’s marks must have been achieved in the previous examination.
  • It is mandatory to have regular satisfactory attendance in the previous session.
3. Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (NTDNT), Gujarat
  • Students in class 11th to PhD level must be girls.
  • Students in the NTDNT category are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

  • You can apply if you belong to the ST category and are studying from 11th grade to postgraduate studies.

  • Students enrolled in correspondence or distance learning programs are also eligible to apply.
  • It is not acceptable for a student to repeat the same class more than once.
20. Fellowship Scheme, Gujarat
  • All SC/ST/SEBC and other categories of students studying in class 11th through postgraduate level are eligible to apply.
  • In class 10th, 70% is the minimum percentage of marks required.
  • Family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per year.
21. Research Scholarship, Gujarat
  • Postgraduate students who wish to pursue a PhD research program in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Zoology and Microbiology are eligible to apply.

31. Food Bill Assistance in College Attached Hostels, Gujarat
  • ST community students pursuing a regular course in a recognized college are eligible for this scheme.
  • A family income of less than INR 2.50 lakh is required for applicants.
32. Higher Secondary Scholarship (SEBC), Gujarat
  • It is open to students who belong to the SEBC category and are studying in class 11th or 12th.

  • Valmiki, Hadi, Nadiya, Turi, Senva, Vankar Sadhu, Garo-Garoda, Dalit-Bava, Tirgar/Tirbanda, Turi-Barot, Matang and Thori communities are all eligible.
  • At least 70% of the student’s classes should be attended.
