ADW Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship scheme requires the following eligibility criteria:-
- Applicants must be SC/ST, minorities or converts to Christianity.
- Applicants must have lived in Tamil Nadu for more than five years.
- This scholarship is available to students studying from class I through Ph.D.
- ADW hostels require candidates to live more than five kilometers from their school/college. Girls, however, are not subject to this condition.
- It is possible for female candidates to live five kilometers from their school/college.
- There should be no more than INR 2,00,000 in annual family income.
- It is necessary for candidates who want to study in distinguished schools to have passed their previous qualifying examinations.
- It is necessary that the students have studied in Adi Dravidar welfare schools, GTR schools, government schools or government-aided schools.
- ADW scholarship applicants who wish to pursue classes XI and XII in reputed schools should ensure their family income does not exceed INR 1,00,000.

ADW Scholarship Tamil Nadu Application Procedure
Follow the simple steps below to apply for the scholarship:-
- Online applications should be filled out and submitted by the headmaster/principal of a school or college.
- Once the application has been submitted online, the institution’s head should enclose hard copies of the students’ applications and documents and send them via post to their district’s Adi Dravidar and tribal welfare offices.
- As soon as the applications are reviewed by ADW officials, they are forwarded to the directorate of Adi dravidar and tribal welfare.
- ECS (Electronic Clearing Service) will credit the beneficiary’s account directly with the ADW scholarship amount.
